Helloo,
It's often said that "people don't buy Art. They buy artists" - so I think it's important that I tell you a little bit about myself in order that you can better understand my Art and the origins of where all the paintings and illustrations come from:
I'm Muslim. I'm half English & Iranian. I now live in Scotland because I recently got married, and frequently visit London more for my family and friends than for the city itself. Other small facts: I love travelling, learning about different cultures, religions, ideas. I love people, most of the time. I have 7 siblings. I love food. I love English comedy, Indian music, Korean dramas, anime (of course) and all things Middle Eastern. I used to do Muay Thai and Karate when I lived in London. I want to learn piano, Russian, and make my life of significant use to others. Google the meaning of my name, except my surname 'Yate', not sure how much the origin of the word relates to my personality - it's very typically English though, so there's that.
Why do I create the work I do? In the hope to challenge, to teach, to spread positivity and knowledge, to create beauty, to inspire, to influence. And hopefully not to add too much to our increasing obsession with materialism, but to create items of purpose and value that last and are taken care of and appreciated very very dearly.
